Position:
ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER
Montauk Plumbing & Heating is a family owned company. In the past five years, we have expanded from five trucks to over thirty-five and are continuing to grow. We are looking to expand our office staff in our Bridgehampton location. The office is casual and fast paced as we regularly deal with high volume.
SALARY: $40,000 – $60,000 (Based on Experience)
LOCATION: Bridgehampton
EXPECTED HOURS: Weekdays (Monday through Friday) 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
The position of “ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER” has responsibilities that include but are not limited to:
- Navigate the bidding process for new construction
- Submit building applications, follow up on permits
- Assist Project Managers with multiple job sites
- Communicate daily with contractors, job site supervisors, etc.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, vendors and technicians
- Routinely review job progress with Project Manager and process change orders
- Job costing for profit/loss
- Obtaining approval for changes on the job
- Visiting job sites when necessary
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
- Strong organizational, time management and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of Excel and Quickbooks
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure with time sensitive deadlines
- Spanish would be helpful
